The war for Independence is the glorious page of it. As important supplementations of this event, key documents of the Declaration of Independence (1776) and the U.S. Constitution (1787) appeared. By being the basic documents of contemporary USA, their role and content are often idealized in the same manner the War for Independence is.

Custer never conducted proper reconnaissance and went ahead to ignore the warnings that were given by his scouts. This is serious negligence that led to his demise. Custer acted selfishly, and it is indicated in the paper that he was eager to get praises solely for winning the war that he never achieved.

The reconstruction process would never be complete without dealing with race relations. The Bureau would have to ensure that the freedmen would be accepted in the society without discrimination, prejudice, bias, and anything else that would come with their race. The Bureau had to see that slavery was over even after the departure of the union slaves.

The period between 1860 and 1863 was a vital period. This is because political events and crucial battles that shaped the Civil War and the American nation took place during this period. These events led to subsequent activities that influenced societies in many ways. Ohio is a state that is regarded as the most crucial during the Civil War in the US.

The Whig was a British party that had a great influence on American Politics. The Whig of America’s Founding era originated from the original radical Whigs that emerged from the extreme elements of the Whig movement that took place in England in the 1680s. The ideologies of the early Whigs were founded on their opposition to centralization and absolutism.

The two leaders I will use to discuss the topic will be Nelson Mandela and Sayyid Qutb. Nelson Mandela was an anti-apartheid revolutionist from South Africa who served as the country’s president for one term. Mandela was the first black man to head South Africa. It was also the first democratic election held in South Africa.

Treaties were very crucial in the formation of Canada as a unified state. There were many factions in various sections of the country that had racial and ideological differences. Therefore, there was a need for the country to unite and operate as one under one government like America which was thriving economically at the time.

 It could be the inability to overcome a colonial experience, unsolved ancient ethnic and religious conflicts can be driven back to life, or etc., and only a clear democratic politics is able to resist. Third, whatever is the reason for political instability, it always causes brutal conflicts with the number of human sacrifices. If the state is politically unstable, it fails to protect its own citizens from harm.

There were numerous political and activist movements in the history of the US from the fifties to the seventies. One of the conflicts that suffocated the climate of the political and activist arena was on the Vietnam War and racial segregation. Women's awareness of their role and contribution to society through feminist movements had also heightened.

The most known impact of German unification was the removal of the border dividing East and West Germany. The border was certainly opened parallel to the opening of the Berlin Wall, but the course may be argued to have begun earlier with the numerous people of East Germany fleeing to the western side.

The purge of the Gang of Four and the death of Mao Zedong marked the end of the Cultural Revolution. In 1977, the 11th party conference officially brought an end to the Cultural Revolution. Throughout the ten years of the Cultural Revolution, many people in China were left in poverty; the majority of children equally missed educational opportunities as a result of educational reforms.

The people belonging to the African-American societies adopted numerous steps for raising voices against the conduct of racial segregation within schools. The Slave trade was and still is the worst chapter ever experienced on earth. Africans especially from West Africa due to the similarity in climate between West Africa and the Caribbean were imported as slaves to work in the tobacco and sugar plantations in the Caribbean. The trade left painful marks in history, culture and societies all over the world.

If morals are identified by religion or ethnicity, there will be conflict just like the one between Muslims and Hindus. The religious background of the two groups and totally different, so they do not like each other. From the deep heart, they hate each other for their values are different and they cannot reach an agreement with each other.

The African Americans desired and solicited for the removal of South Africa and Zimbabwe from the Olympics because they were at the time countries that were faced by Apartheid. The government did not take this well because it meant being exposed to the whole world that racism was a core issue that affected the country.

Censorship, whether it is the kind that was seen in the interwar period in Ireland or the kind that was seen in the rest of Europe, cannot be effective in achieving the kind of things that it is intended to achieve. It was found that if they indulged in committing the crime of sodomy without the consent of others it would be considered as rape and thus the convict would be severely punished. During the given period, there were no such laws established relating to the legalization of homosexuality and thus the people used it as a tool for committing various types of crimes.

Most slaves were subjected to sexual abuse by the slaves, owners, sons of the owners and the overseers. Laws regulating slaves were racist as only white men who refused to punish runaway slaves were only fined. It is clear that slavery in America was an institution where African-Americans were subjected to torture and very harsh conditions.

Violent hatred of Jews persisted despite their disappearance in many cities for centuries. Also, in contrast to many other findings in the literature on the extent of anti-Semitic ideology, investigations herewith yield no immediate economic benefit. Nonetheless, findings lend some qualified support to theories that seek to explain the systematic mass-murder of Jews by Germany’s cultural heritage.

The concept evades universal definition according to scholars, and Stalin’s willingness to use that definition may have been underpinned by an underhanded desire to exclude some groups, such as the Jews. The usual means employed by scholars to foster understanding of nation or nationalism is to classify the various types of nations.

The Ottoman Empire acquired a big size of the Balkans, the mountain range cutting through current day Bulgaria running from the east to the west where they ruled for three centuries.  Balkan is Turkish for “thickly wooded mountain range” describing the Balkan Peninsula and mountain range. The Ottoman Empire also ruled Poland, Greece, and Hungary.

Without these contributions to the continent, the ensuing renaissance and inclusive governance would not have been possible. For example, without the cultural diffusion that Islam had encouraged through embracing knowledge from other cultures and exchanging the same, the advancement of unifying human ideals would not have taken place. 

During President Roosevelt's term, America turned its focus to China. Although America lacked any territorial interest, nonetheless, she had commercial interests and after assisting crush the Boxer Rebellion, the US developed Open Door Notes which facilitated open trade in Chinese territory to all countries.

The Great Depression caused the US to change its belief since government programs were initiated to assist in resuscitating the economy. Even though the US economy thrived well during the 20s underneath was a structural weakness. There was overproduction from the newly created assembly lines. 

Yitzhak Rabin and Yasser Arafat signed the agreement which was intended to bring peace in the Middle East. However, the Oslo Agreement failed to deliver the intended results and the continued failure in the peace process. The first blow was the assassination of Rabin by a right-wing Israeli on Nov. 4, 1995. The Hamas also did a series of suicide bombings in Jerusalem and other Israeli cities.

 The Truman Doctrine, that was passed on May 22, 1947, was significant because, for the first time in world history, weaker nations could ask for, and be reasonably assured of support from the United States in its role as the main Superpower to emerge almost untouched by the Second World War. Such assistance was specifically limited to nations facing the real danger of being engulfed by communism.

Prior to the aspiration of America to become an imperialist country for the fulfillment of its imagined responsibility to impart to the uncivilized world the path towards enlightenment and progress, a myth already existed to define the boundaries between the opportune and the ill-fated. The frontier myth symbolized the elements of opportunity, possibility, and optimism.
